Executive coaching · Brazoria, TX

You got promoted. The hard part starts now.

One-on-one coaching, 90-day onboarding, and working offsites for directors and VPs who just stepped up — and would rather lead like they’ve done it before than fake it in front of a team that can tell.

A single executive standing at a window in a quiet office, considering the room ahead

The people who hire us are first-time directors and VPs on Gulf Coast manufacturing, energy, and healthcare teams — smart operators handed a leadership role and no manual. If that’s you, keep reading. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you on the first call.

Dana Whitfield, founder of Zinc Lantern

“Most coaching fails because it’s polite. I’m not paid to be your friend — I’m paid to name the thing your team already knows and won’t say to your face.”

How the work is shaped

Numbers that describe the offer — not a scoreboard.

90

Days of onboarding

Long enough to build real leadership habits, short enough that nobody coasts.

Sessions a month

1:1, ninety minutes each. No cohort, no group chat, no audience.

6

Max in an offsite

Small enough that no one hides behind a bigger room.

30

Minute fit call

Free, and before a dollar changes hands. We both decide if it’s a match.

Straight answers

Before you spend a dollar, the questions you’re actually thinking.

No brochure language here. If something’s a trade-off, we say so.

01

What does a fit call actually decide?

Thirty minutes, no charge. We work out whether you need coaching or just a decent week off. If I’m the wrong person for what you’re facing, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.

02

How much of my calendar does this eat?

1:1 coaching is two 90-minute sessions a month, plus about 20 minutes of homework you’ll skip the first time. The 90-day onboarding is heavier up front — I’ll be honest about the load before you sign anything.

03

Do you run trust falls and vision boards?

No. An offsite here is a working session — real decisions, real disagreements, said out loud in the room. Nobody catches anybody.

04

What if it isn’t working?

End a coaching engagement with 30 days’ notice, no penalty. I’d rather lose the fee than pad out sessions that aren’t moving anything for you.

05

Who should not hire you?

Anyone shopping for a cheerleader, or a director whose real problem is that they don’t want the job. Coaching sharpens people who’ve decided to lead. It can’t make that decision for you.

Three ways we work · real prices

Billed per engagement. Nothing hidden, no retainer creep.

Pick the shape that fits where you are. Every one starts with the free fit call so we’re both sure before money moves.

Not sure which one fits? Say so on the call.

The fit call is free and honest. Worst case, you leave with a clearer read on what you’re facing and a name of someone who can help — even if it isn’t me.
